Heavy Equipment Operator at Bayshore Construction Company. Washington DC.
Responsibilities
Safe and efficient operation of equipment for building demolition, clearing, foundation excavation, loading truck, installing utilities, and grading.
Establish grades and slopes from a benchmark using a laser.
Load trucks to weight depending on soil type and condition.
Knowledge of shoring and trench safety.
Install side sewers, drainage, and water utilities.
Basic understanding of blueprints.
Additional Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience.
Good communication and organization skills.
Valid driver’s license.
