REQ21417**Apply now to join FAU on its race to excellence.****For more information on everything FAU has to offer, please visit .****Note: Current FAU employees must apply as an internal applicant by logging into their existing Workday employee account.****Position Summary:**The Center for Omics technologies and Data Engineering (CODE) at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for postdoctoral scholar positions to work on collaborative, interdisciplinary projects involving CODE faculty and external partners from national laboratories and industry.We seek candidates with strong expertise in computational methods, particularly those with backgrounds in machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), statistics, bioinformatics, or analysis-acceleration technologies. Candidates should also have prior experience working with high-volume omics data to address biological or biomedical problems, or demonstrate a clear interest in contributing to future projects that involve such data and directions. Postdoctoral scholars will work under the supervision of CODE Director Michael DeGiorgio and will collaborate closely with researchers across the College of Engineering and Computer Science, the College of Medicine, and external collaborators.Research areas include (but are not limited to):- Population, cancer, and clinical genomics- Multi-omics integration and AI-driven analytics- Quantum or hardware acceleration for omics technologies- Systems, molecular, or metabolic engineering- Translational and precision medicineProjects will be tailored to each scholar’s background, interests, and career goals, and will involve collaboration with at least two CODE members or partners.More information about CODE can be found at:Review of applications will begin immediately and continue on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.**Minimum Qualifications:**Experience in computational methods, such as AI, machine learning, statistics, hardware acceleration, computational biology, or bioinformatics.
