The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is the second-highest authority at a Raindrop Car Wash location and plays a key leadership role in maintaining day-to-day operations, team performance, leading and driving a sales culture, and facility functionality. AGMs are trusted to make real time decisions, support staff development, and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for customers and employees alike.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leads and drives a sales culture, focused on increasing car wash memberships
Open, close, and manage labor at the site
Ensure proper execution of all standard operating procedures across prep, lot, kiosk, and tunnel areas
Consistently led kiosk sales performance while mentoring team members to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
Handle customer escalations and ensure resolutions that protect long-term satisfaction
Enforce company policies related to timekeeping, attendance, uniform, and standard operating procedures
Identify and respond to mechanical issues within the wash
Monitor site safety and maintain OSHA-compliant work environments
Job Requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills
Previous sales experience related to identifying customer needs and tailoring a solution which drives value to the customer
High comfort level with decision-making under pressure
Ability to manage team performance and enforce standards professionally
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of wash systems preferred
Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
Able to lift 35+ lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in outdoor environments
Working Conditions This position involves outdoor work in variable weather conditions and requires frequent movement between areas of the site. Exposure to water, chemicals, and motorized equipment is common. Assistant General Managers are expected to work weekends, evenings, and cover gaps in the schedule when needed.
