## Learning Experience Designer* Collaborates with faculty subject matter experts, academic departments and other stakeholders to design and implement innovative, student-centered learning experiences across online, hybrid, and in-perform formats.* Develops engaging learning materials and courses aimed at enhancing student success and retention, adhering to established style guidelines and standards for consistent learning experiences.* Applies various evidence-based learning theories and design strategies to create high-quality learning environments that foster student engagement and support the needs of all learners.* Manages and completes multiple learning design projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with goals and milestones of the colleges and department.* Develops a variety of learning assets, including videos, interactive simulations, and digital assessments using relevant tools and software that are accessible.* Conducts quality assurance and accessibility reviews of courses and remediates content, confirming compliance with established standards and guidelines.* Uses learning analytics and assessment data to evaluate learning solution effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.* Leads faculty development workshops and provides consultations on learning design, AI literacy, digital pedagogy, assessment, quality assurance, effective use of the learning management system, and the integration of emerging learning technologies.* Creates and supports the maintenance of the internal style and design guide documentation and D2L resources for faculty.* Participates in professional development to stay current with emerging trends, learning technologies, and pedagogies in learning experience design.* Performs other duties as assigned.* **Education:** Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.* **Experience / Knowledge / Skills:** Three years of professional experience designing and developing learning experiences in higher education, designing for accessibility, and applying universal design for learning principles.
Demonstrated experience with course design in a learning management system (D2L, Blackboard, Canvas).
Experience facilitating faculty development workshops and communities of practice.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of learning theories.* **Ability to:** Multi-task and work well as part of a team.
