About the role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will serve as a functional leader overseeing a team of Project Managers responsible for projects from development through construction and final handoff to property management. This role is critical as Good Co scales its development and construction pipeline. The Senior Project Manager brings structure, predictability, and leadership to a growing portfolio while helping shape how projects are planned, executed, and delivered company-wide. You will drive consistent execution, ensure accountability to portfolio goals and WIP reporting, and develop high-performing Project Managers. We are looking for a leader who is driven to deliver results, grounded in collaboration, and emotionally intelligent—someone who takes ownership, values team success, and communicates with clarity and respect. What you'll do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers overseeing projects end-to-end Drive consistent project execution across development, pre‑construction, construction, and closeout Own accountability for portfolio performance, including schedules, budgets, risks, and WIP reporting accuracy Partner closely with Pre‑Construction on bidding strategy, contractor evaluation, and scope alignment Provide final recommendation and decision authority on contractor selection Identify and manage portfolio‑level risks, serving as the senior escalation point for complex issues Ensure realistic planning, sequencing, and forecasting across the project portfolio Communicate clearly with senior leadership through concise reporting and executive‑ready summaries Improve and standardize project management processes to increase predictability and performance Qualifications

6+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or related fields. Prior experience leading Project Managers or cross‑functional teams. Strong understanding of development and construction lifecycles and related financial drivers. Demonstrated ability to build schedules, evaluate estimates, and manage risk across a portfolio of projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). You thrive in environments where expectations are high, collaboration is essential, and your leadership directly shapes outcomes. The pay range for this role is: 125,000 - 135,000 USD per year (Buffalo, NY)
