The Area Assistant Vice President is responsible for driving revenue growth by cultivating and managing relationships with new and existing clients. This role primarily focuses on small to mid-size companies with high revenue potential. The Producer collaborates with other team members and support personnel in sales situations and may oversee overall client relationships with day‑to‑day account management support. How You Will Impact the Business: As a Producer, you play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building and nurturing valuable relationships, and expanding Gallagher’s market share. Your contributions will directly influence the success and growth of the business. How you’ll make an impact
Prospect and acquire new clients through community networking, industry engagement, client referrals, and collaboration with Branch Managers to identify opportunities. Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of coverage lines, risk management solutions, and insurance products. Clearly articulate Gallagher’s unique value proposition, differentiating it from competitors. Qualify opportunities and prioritize those with a high likelihood of success. Gain a profound understanding of clients’ business needs and leverage the extensive network of Gallagher Industry and Niche Experts to address those needs. Proactively engage clients by anticipating and planning for their future requirements. Foster relationships with external firms and individuals with clients that Gallagher can assist. Establish connections with carriers to comprehend their solutions in relation to client needs and factors influencing commissions and fees. Stay updated on industry and market trends that may impact prospects and clients, and maintain expertise to meet their evolving needs. Develop proposals, contracts, and renewal agreements by coordinating efforts with Gallagher Client Service Operations. About You
Bachelor’s degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor’s degree, participation in Gallagher’s Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience. Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM. Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
