Collaborate within the AA Vacations team of the Customer Division.
What you'll do
Serve as SME for AA Vacations and Car Planner products in strategy, scope, and design decisions.
Develop strategies to optimize AA Vacations’ user experience and booking path for B2C and B2B packaged travel channels.
Drive platform analysis, experiments, and cross‑organization prioritization to improve upsell, cross‑sell, and monetization initiatives.
Conduct primary research on consumer e‑commerce trends and gather market intelligence on vacation platforms.
Act as primary liaison and voice of the customer between internal and external users and senior AA Vacations stakeholders.
Communicate and educate the Reservations team on new features, functionality, and training materials.
Create processes to identify irregularities and investigate customer experience failures for continuous improvement.
Support supplier relationship development and communicate requirements for effective prioritization.
Assist with customer relations requests and research as required.
Translate strategy into business requirements, submit enhancement requests, and review functional specifications for platform changes.
Assist with test planning to ensure appropriate techniques are used during testing.
Provide ad‑hoc reporting and lead special projects supporting operations and business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
3 years of relevant work experience.
Experience testing APIs / web services.
Experience in Quality Assurance, including use of various test techniques and approaches.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in web/digital channels, including UX and booking path optimization.
Experience with third‑party e‑commerce and loyalty platforms.
Experience with XML or ability to read HTML.
SABRE experience.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and connecting them with business strategy.
Professional demeanor in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
Critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, manage change, and meet customer expectations.
