Below are the primary duties and essential functions of an employee in this position. While not all tasks may be performed by every employee in this role, all employees are expected to perform related tasks as needed. These essential functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Conduct psychological testing and diagnostic evaluation.

Collaborate with Psychological Testing Assistant to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of testing and evaluations.

Assess patients and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Create a treatment plan for patients based on the needs of the individual.

Work with family members, as needed, as part of treatment for the patients.

Work with patients in crisis situations, evaluate risk, and initiate appropriate response to promote patient safety.

Complete CSSRS or other crisis tools and link to or provide necessary services that may include, but are not limited to, IPH admission, crisis planning, referral.

Attend all required clinical supervision sessions and staff meetings.

Provide counseling services using evidenced based practices, within CSO-approved clinical scope of practice, and complete required documentation of services rendered.

Practice measurement-based care by the routine use of approved patient outcome measures.

Provide referrals and linking to services to support an integrative care model of treatment. Referrals include but not limited to community resources, medical providers and transportation services.

Advocate for and practice in a welcoming, inclusive and non-discriminatory manner.

Practice in full alignment with Bowen Health and professional trade association ethics codes including, but not limited to maintaining strong, appropriate provider-patient boundaries and avoiding dual relationships.

Provide clinical supervision and oversight.

Maintain credentials with all applicable managed care contracts by completing the necessary paperwork and returning it on a timely basis.

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Education: PhD or PsyD in Psychology.

Experience: That which is necessary to obtain a doctoral degree in psychology from a duly accredited educational institute. The degree conferred must be acceptable to the Indiana Psychology Board as meeting requirements for licensure as a psychologist in the State of Indiana and for endorsement as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP).

Certificate or Professional License:

Requires actively working toward Psychologist Licensure in the state of Indiana and endorsement as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP).

CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment.

BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment.

Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage.

Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks

Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
