Base pay is determined by applicant’s skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team‑based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits‑eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Veterans, transitioning active‑duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N‑400) application costs, up to $725, for qualified associates with at least one year of service.

Responsibilities Provides direct supervision of care giving within the community, ensuring residents are treated with respect and dignity, fostering a homelike atmosphere.

Supervises resident care staff; monitors job performance, collaborates on evaluations, coaches, and administers corrective action.

Coordinates ongoing training and education for resident care staff.

Verifies associate hours, completes nursing schedules, arranges replacement staffing, and maintains detailed records.

Observes resident health status; takes actions within scope of practice; reports changes, reactions, and incidents promptly.

Assists the Health and Wellness Director with medication management, ordering, storage, and documentation.

Administers medication when within scope; reviews residents' medication self‑administration capabilities.

Monitors medication administration records and conducts audits.

Responds promptly to all emergency calls from residents.

Communicates with families regarding resident needs, appointments, and treatment compliance.

Ensures ancillary services (podiatrist, doctor visits, labs, etc.) are scheduled and followed through.

Organizes and develops service plan reviews with the resident care team and families.

Participates in maintaining resident charts, monthly MAR reviews, and new resident record setup.

Participates in departmental quality improvement and survey completion.

Performs safety and infection control checks of the home and grounds.

Participates in community functions, family socials, and open houses; communicates with professionals.

Shares on‑call duties as required.
