Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Position Summary MaineHealth is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to support our Pediatrics practice in Biddeford. The PSS serves as a key point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality experience throughout the visit process.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients and families in a pediatric setting
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Verify patient demographics, insurance, and registration information
Handle phone calls, messages, and front-desk inquiries
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
