About the Role We are currently seeking a Safety Director. The ideal candidate leads company-wide safety programs across all projects and worksites, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
Responsibilities
Promote and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and clients’ safety requirements.
Foster and promote a strong safety culture.
Implement construction and general industry safety programs.
Perform safety audits, safety management, and safety training.
Represent the company at safety meetings with clients.
Business development.
Visit active construction project sites.
Required Qualifications
Fifteen plus years of progressive experience in the safety field.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER
Preferred
Qualifications
Additional safety certifications
Confined Space Entry
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certification
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification
OSHA Hazardous Communication
OSHA Trainer
Estimated Annual Compensation Starting at $170,000, depending on experience
