Overview
Mobile Medical Specialist - Hospital at Home - Full time Days Hospital at Home is a program at NYP that provides inpatient hospital level care at the patient’s home, combining daily in-home visits, virtual visits, and 24/7 remote patient monitoring to deliver hospital care in the home setting. The program is designed and delivered by NYP providers and clinical staff to maintain quality, service, and innovation while alleviating capacity constraints and reducing readmission rates. Since 2020, CMS has authorized many hospitals to offer acute hospital care at home, with numbers continuing to grow. Responsibilities
Operate NYP vehicles, transporting nursing personnel to and from multiple patient residences. Enter patient homes and assist with peripheral patient care. Stock/carry medical supplies, basic specimen processing, and transporting medications. Provide safe and reliable driving, and support the clinical team in delivering care in the home setting. Shift and Reporting
This is a full-time rotating day shift position, 7:00 am - 7:30 pm. 3 shifts per week, including weekend and holiday requirements. Daily reporting location is the NYP Hospital at Home Operations Center East, 60th Street, Manhattan. Criteria
Preferred Criteria EMS work experience strongly preferred Required Criteria High School Diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Additional Information
