Position Summary We are looking for an experienced, compassionate LSLS Certified Auditory‑Verbal Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide high‑quality diagnostic and therapeutic Auditory Verbal services for children with hearing loss and communication needs. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, creativity, and a strong commitment to family education and coaching.
Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy using Auditory‑Verbal Therapy (AVT) approaches.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with audiologists, occupational therapists, teachers of the deaf, and families to ensure coordinated care.
Offer parent coaching and family support as a core part of therapy.
Maintain detailed documentation and track patient progress.
Contribute to staff training, parent education, and community outreach efforts.
Support the mission of our early intervention school for children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
Qualifications
CCC‑SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology).
LSLS Certification (Auditory‑Verbal Therapist or Auditory‑Verbal Educator).Current state license (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech‑Language Pathology.
3+ years of pediatric experience, preferably with children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Strong family‑centered care approach and excellent communication skills.
Passion for early intervention and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
