Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under direction and supervision, is accountable for the care of patients in the 4E Post-Acute Neuro unit. The LPN focuses on safe, effective patient- and family-centered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care under direction, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care.

Delegate nursing tasks to non-licensed staff as appropriate in coordination with leadership.

Apply educational and professional experience to the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting of non-licensed staff and/or students.

Qualifications

Required: Diploma

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Desired: One year in an acute care setting
