Job Summary and Qualifications The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care for assigned patients in coordination with the physician and care team. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans. The PT leads patient treatment and supports patients throughout the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice.
Assess and evaluate therapeutic status and develop total care plans.
Deliver therapeutic care using techniques to induce functional improvement.
Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on home therapies and equipment use.
Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments.
Required Qualifications
Basic Life Support certification.
Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT).
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
Eligibility and Geography Menorah Medical Center is a full‑service 190‑bed acute care hospital and ER located in Overland Park and Leawood, Kansas.
