Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) standards and agreement reference no. 312.
Manage policies and procedures established by the EMS agency in partnership with the EDAP Medical Director.
Oversee the EDAP QI program and act as a liaison among providers, associates and administrative staff to support evidence‑based pediatric care.
Qualifications
2 years experience working in pediatrics or in an ED providing care to pediatric patients within the previous 5 years.
Demonstrated competence in adult & pediatric codes.
Completion of a 2‑day pediatric emergency course within 90 days of hire.
Completion of 7 hours of pediatric continuing education approved by the Board of Registered Nursing within 90 days of hire.
BSN preferred.
Outstanding communication & mentoring skills.
Strong independent time‑management skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Intermediate computer skills required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates required; instructor preferred.
ENPC and MICN preferred.
Pay Transparency Compensation range: $50.11 to $67.36 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and other voluntary options. Benefits may vary based on status (full‑time or part‑time).
