A 238-bed acute care hospital serving Bay County and surrounding communities for over 40 years is seeking a skilled
Cardiovascular Technologist
to join its advanced cardiac and vascular care team. This facility offers comprehensive services including cardiac assessments, interventional procedures, womens services, orthopedic care, robotic surgery, and the regions only Pediatric ER, Level III NICU, and PICU. The hospital also holds accreditations in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI & Resuscitation, and Comprehensive Breast Care. The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, perform hemodynamic monitoring, and complete specialized radiographic studies. This role also supports patient care activities and contributes to efficient lab operations. Key Responsibilities
Prepare equipment and assist physicians with cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures Perform specialized radiographic procedures to assess cardiac and vascular function Conduct hemodynamic monitoring during procedures Support patient care by assisting with transportation and general workflow in the lab Demonstrate strong understanding of sterile technique and procedural safety Collaborate effectively with the cardiovascular team to ensure high-quality patient care Qualifications
1 year of experience
in Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab required Florida Registered Radiologic Technician
certification required Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology ARRT Registered Radiographer
or
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
required BLS certification
required ACLS certification
required within 4560 days of hire Compensation
Salary Range:
$29.56 - $44.34 (based heavily on experience)
