Jackson Ridge and Maquoketa Care Centers are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Licensed Social Worker
to join our care team. This role supports the emotional and psychosocial well-being of our residents by providing
individual counseling , facilitating
group therapy sessions , and offering
family counseling services . Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one therapeutic sessions with residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support residents’ overall care plans. Provide counseling and support to families navigating long-term care decisions. Develop and lead multiple group therapy programs tailored to residents’ needs. Collaborate with our Nursing Team and Physician to maintain best outcomes. Proficiently chart and document sessions and services provided. Requirements/Qualifications:
Active Iowa licensure as a Social Worker (LSW or higher). Experience working in nursing homes or long-term care. Experience working with patients with dementia induced behaviors. Benefits/Perks:
