Acting as an onsite safety liaison with primary focus in construction and fire safety, incumbent(s) will conduct job site inspections to monitor conformance with construction and fire safety standards and coordinate with the project management team to help improve safety on the jobsite. They will inspect sites to determine if conditions meet the required Federal, state and local standards and document any unsafe conditions. They will provide comprehensive accident investigations that include interview, photographs and written report. They will coordinate with client and participate in loss control inspections with insurance brokers and/or carrier representatives and accompany all regulatory officials on site inspections. They will coordinate onsite safety meetings and appropriate toolbox talks. They will perform new worker orientations and may supervise onsite staff. About You

Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science. Minimum 6 years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting. Registration or designation in one or more of the following technical areas: Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional or Professional Engineer. Prior experience in profit and loss management for consulting. Preferred: Compensation and benefits
