Supply Chain Systems Manager Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite - Desoto, Texas

Overview This position will function as site level subject matter expert for all relevant systems utilized in the distribution operations. This individual will work collaboratively with the third-party logistics Distribution Operations team, Kohler Kitchen & Bath Logistics, and Kohler Corporate IT to enable efficient distribution operations through systems. This individual will solve larger system issues, resolve bottlenecks and develop continuous improvement opportunities through existing or new systems, including Warehouse Management Systems, Logistics Management Systems, and other integrated automation systems.

Responsibilities

Owns oversight and maintenance of the WMS used in operations. Owner of systems configuration, including setting up parameters, defining workflows and creating rules for inventory management. Ensuring proper maintenance of system master data and reducing systems errors.

Responsible for identifying, diagnosing and resolving issues within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to minimize operations disruption. This includes troubleshooting errors related to inventory discrepancies, order processing failures, RF device connectivity, user access, and system integration problems. The role requires a proactive approach to root cause analysis, ensuring long-term fixes are implemented and documented.

Collaborate with project team to implement warehouse automation technologies. Assist in defining system requirements, conducting functional testing, validating data flows and ensuring seamless communication between the WMS and automation. By actively participating in planning, deployment and post-launch support, this role will ensure automation solutions are optimized within the warehouse environment.

Project Lead in delivery of complex projects, enhancements and system support. Identifies the appropriate resources needed for project execution, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, while controlling project cost, quality, schedule, and scope.

Drives continuous improvement through systems initiatives which support KPIs in the areas of cost, quality, service, safety, and sustainability. This role will drive the execution of the identified changes within the system to increase productivity on the warehouse floor and develops solutions to business challenges.

Act as a change agent and assist operational teams with the transition from as-is to be processes and systems. Document new processes for warehouse functions aligned with Logistics Systems and understand change activities that contribute to risk mitigation. Lead development of user training on how to properly use the system including training document creation, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support to users.

Partner with IT Functional Analyst to perform updates to system configuration, test code changes, and provide early communication to operations teams to ensure they understand how changes will impact their processes.

Skills/Qualifications

Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years professional experience is required, preferred experience in information systems and/or warehousing.

Must have extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Tier 1 solutions such as Blue Yonder JDA/Red Prairie.

Preferred past experience with SAP ECC, including MM, SD and WM modules.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
