Job Overview
Lead Administrator L1 (Contract) – New Jersey – 6+ month contract. Salary $60,000‑$135,000. Key Responsibilities
Design, deployment, and lifecycle management of global WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure. Oversee SD‑WAN architecture, template management, circuit prioritization, and traffic routing policies. Manage VPN, firewall, and NAT configurations; secure connectivity between on‑premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS). Maintain Christie’s wireless (corporate and guest) network; SSID segmentation, security protocols (WPA2/WPA3), guest portals. Coordinate wireless site surveys, AP mapping, and RF tuning for high‑density environments. Integrate RingCentral and AudioCodes gateways; monitor and support live sales network. Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco UCaaS, F5 systems, and NPS services. Perform physical datacenter patching and manage physical network devices. Oversee certificate lifecycle management for VPNs, wireless controllers, and internal services. Collaborate with Infosec to own firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and vulnerability remediation. Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, wireless controllers. Monitor, configure, and backup SolarWinds for network monitoring and NetFlow analytics. Manage WAN utilization and LAN availability reports. Support vendor contracts for Cisco support, hardware support, and general support; coordinate contract renewals and licensing true‑ups. Act as escalation point for global network incidents and changes; provide mentorship to regional network engineers. Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and governance meetings. Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of enterprise network engineering and operations experience. Expert‑level knowledge of Cisco technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, DNA, ISE, SD‑WAN). Strong understanding of WAN routing, BGP, NAT, VPN, and firewall architectures. Experience with wireless design and troubleshooting in high‑density environments. Strong understanding of cloud networking (Azure ExpressRoute, IPSEC tunnels). Proficiency in SolarWinds, NetFlow, and network monitoring tools. Proven ability to manage global vendors and support contracts. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Certifications
Cisco CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Security). Versa SD‑WAN certification or equivalent experience. Cloud networking certification (Azure or equivalent). ITIL Foundation. Benefits
