Description You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of supplier quality, driving project and program success.

What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and their products, developing and implementing effective quality control processes, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive supplier performance.

Developing and implementing supplier quality control processes

Conducting audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance

Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance

Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Working with internal stakeholders to drive supplier quality initiatives

Location This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location.

Basic Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance. This position requires special access to a facility.

STEM degree at the bachelor’s level or equivalent experience/combined education.

Quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.

Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools.

Experience in disposition of non‑conforming products.

Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.

Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed).

Desired Skills

STEM degree at the bachelor's level or above highly preferred.

In depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.

Effectively interact with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.

Engineering drawing review experience.

Experience with First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.

AS9100 interpretation and application experience.

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Remote Work and Schedule Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
