Direct Support Professional – Community Habilitation
ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a gentleman who requires assistance due to accessibility needs. The individual is seeking a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assistance in maintaining independence both at home and within the community.
Responsibilities
Assist with transportation to activities within the community, including schooling at Syracuse University.
Provide support with daily living skills at school and home.
Help facilitate independence during daily activities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Reliable transportation required.
Prior experience is a plus, but not required.
Reliable, patient, enthusiastic support staff sought.
Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.
Work Hours & Compensation Work hours Monday – Friday based on class schedule, may be morning or afternoon. Approximately 25 hours per week at $28.00 per hour.
