Overview
Campus Audio Visual Systems (CAVS) is a department of Auburn University Office of Information Technology. The CAVS Group is involved in design through implementation of all manners of campus audio/visual technology. The focus is on Auburn University classroom teaching technology but often spreads to other various and exciting A/V projects across the AU central campus and beyond. Temporary Employment Services (TES)
TES, a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in‑house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being: Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads Assistance with special projects Seasonal work AU student employees are not eligible for TES. Essential Functions
This position responsibility will be twofold and will require work with the CAVS warehouse and vehicle fleet, as well as in the field on jobsites across campus. The warehouse responsibilities include:
Managing warehouse stock and keeping the warehouse facility clean. Pulling inventory to stage parts for upcoming projects. Will also be responsible for emptying the CAVS vehicle fleet of removed A/V gear and re‑stocking the vehicles with essential parts. The field responsibilities include:
Loading and unloading A/V gear on jobsites. Keeping the jobsites clean and organized during work. This position will also assist a CAVS team member in occasional jobsite duties that may vary. These duties will provide the opportunity to learn the inner working of Auburn University campus technology system design and installation. Why Work at Auburn?

Job requires walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and lifting up to 100 pounds. Ability to climb up and down ladders. Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. Must be functional with basic hand tools. Desired Qualifications
Experience with audiovisual technology. Salary Range
$15.00/hour Work Hours
Monday‑Friday 8AM – 5PM Location
