About the Role:
The Manufacturing Technician III reports to a Manufacturing Supervisor. In this role, you will execute all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and related regulations. You will participate in departmental projects and quality teams as applicable. Under the direction of the lead technician and supervisor, you will oversee hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. You may revise documents, rewrite complex procedures, or initiate new procedures as applicable. You will apply technical knowledge to perform complex troubleshooting and may assist during transfer of new technologies into manufacturing. You will have the competence to organize and lead production activities with leadership in cGMP compliance and safety skills. This position works 5:00am-5:30pm on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. How you will Contribute:
Manage personal training plan to enhance knowledge, skills, and capabilities Troubleshoot process and equipment problems to minimize manufacturing downtime Conduct safety Gembas and provide coaching daily to ensure technicians follow proper ergonomic techniques Support all local manufacturing operations Operate general production equipment (such as filling, inspection, and packaging equipment) Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams Receive and distribute supplies into the production area Ensure all components necessary for manufacturing are prepped and ready to meet schedule adherence and set up the next shift for success Assemble and operate manufacturing equipment Coordinate other groups such as maintenance/metrology to ensure preventative maintenance is done Demonstrate proficiency in electronic systems such as EBM, JDE, etc. What you bring to Takeda:
High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related work experience or AA degree or higher with 2+ years related work experience Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow detailed written and oral instructions in English Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team Understanding of cGMP regulations Familiarity with pharmaceutical production equipment including autoclave, DP oven and CIP/SIP Proficient in different mathematical disciplines and able to work with metric and US standards Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures Important Considerations

In this role, you may: Work in a controlled environment requiring gowning and protective clothing Remove make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial nails in the manufacturing environment Work in a cold, wet environment Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or supplement hours as necessary Work around chemicals that may require respiratory protection Be able to work on multiple shifts to support a 24/7 operation Be able to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed Work overtime as required Carry, lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs with or without assistance Stand and/or walk for extended periods Move between quality and packaging areas across the plant May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting Repetitive motions with hands; 20/20 vision (with or without glasses) for roles performing visual inspection; color vision may be required for some roles More about us:
