Position Summary
Registered Nurse – Night Shift at Oceans Healthcare, a 58‑bed acute care behavioral hospital in Phoenix.
Responsibilities
Assess patients for risk of danger to self or others at admission and throughout hospitalization.
Intervene appropriately with patients experiencing a behavioral crisis.
Participate in implementation of individualized plan of care with the treatment team.
Provide patient‑education information for identified learning needs.
Facilitate educational/activity groups, recommending alternatives based on patient functioning level and treatment plan.
Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians; assume charge nurse role when assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Two years of RN experience; one year acute psychiatric experience preferred.
