Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time pediatrician at the Clinical Instructor level to become part of the inpatient pediatric gastroenterology team that focuses on the inpatient care of children with complex gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders at The North Carolina Children's Hospital. This position is ideal for clinician-educators with a strong interest in inpatient pediatric gastroenterology, multidisciplinary collaboration, and teaching. The hired clinician will work closely with an attending pediatric gastroenterologist, a pediatric gastroenterology fellow, a dietitian, a pharmacist, and a patient care coordinator. Residents and medical students may also join the team. This is a full-time, hospital-based position.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements MD/DO; BC or BE in Pediatrics. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Academic and clinical interest in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
