The
H50 nursing unit for Colorectal Surgery
is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute, which has been ranked second in the nation. Working with 16 colorectal surgeons, our dedicated and highly engaged nursing staff is focused on providing world‑class medical and surgical care to patients with medical problems such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer and genetic bowel disease.
A caregiver in this position works day/night rotation, from 7:00PM—7:30AM or 7:00AM—7:30PM.
Responsibilities
Collect, document and report patient data and observations.
Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
Perform routine laboratory tests.
Educate patients and family members.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program
Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
One year of patient care experience

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $23.25 Maximum hourly: $33.50
