Job Description
The Patient Care Associate will, at the direction of the Pediatric Oncology Nurse, provide essential support in the inpatient units for patients, families, and the members of the patient care team. Responsibilities include daily administrative and clerical tasks within the assigned unit and several duties related to the admission and discharge process.
Shift Night shift with weekend rotation
Minimum Education and/or Training
High school diploma/GED
Completion of a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant program required or completion of foundations of nursing from an accredited nursing program
Minimum Experience
Pediatric experience preferred
Experience should include TPR (Temperature, Pulse, Respiratory), BP (Blood Pressure), bed bath and ADL (Activities of Daily Living)
Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The estimate is $19.50 - $28.50 per hour for the role of Patient Care Associate: K5 nights.
