About the Role You will report to the Plasma Center Manager as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.
How You Will Contribute
Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and serological tests.
Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical or technical issues.
Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
Manage employee incidents per occupational health/ER requirements.
Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent with recognized nursing program or related state license.
Licensed LPN or LVN in the state of assignment.
Current CPR and AED certification.
State certification in basic IV therapy.
Complete FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.
