Overview
Heartland Dental is hiring a Dental Hygienist for a full-time position. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30–5:00. Location: 1329 Pennsylvania Ave Ste 201, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be an integral member of the patient care team with support to provide exceptional lifetime patient care. Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in Maryland and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
0 years of clinical experience
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for new hires in dental office positions and will be arranged during pre-employment; not applicable in the states of Florida and Tennessee
