Responsibilities
The primary job duty is to provide basic medical attention to patients and assess their needs.
Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to care.
Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
Assessing, observing, and evaluating residents' clinical condition, documenting findings in the resident electronic medical record and notifying the provider and/or RN when necessary.
Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
Administering medications timely, accurately and according to orders.
Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
