The Therapy Department at
Autumn Lake Healthcare at Salem County
is looking for an
OT Occupational Therapist
to fill a
full‑time
position. You’ll be part of our esteemed skilled nursing facility, providing outstanding and individualized care.
Responsibilities Using therapeutic techniques, you will improve, rehabilitate, or maintain the patient’s motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities. You will assess the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively understand the needs of your patients, explain the treatment process and document treatment plans and progress. You must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient’s family or caregiver.
Qualifications
An active state OT license is required.
Unlimited employee referral bonus, up to $1,000 each.
Multiple locations offered; optional PRN coverage and potential full‑time opportunity at additional locations.

While we cannot guarantee hours, we are typically able to offer a full caseload. Majority of our facilities are in close proximity, allowing us to offer you additional hours at nearby locations.
Do you give raises?
Staff are eligible for performance reviews, where there is always an opportunity for an increase.
Why is this position open?
Therapists that leave our company mostly do so to pursue other practice specialties. While many stay PRN with us, we rarely see our therapists joining a competing SNF.
How does corporate support the therapists on the floors?
Majority of our Regional Directors, as well as many corporate members, are therapists themselves. All Directors understand the demands of Medicare and insurance guidelines. They are actively present in the facilities, collaborating directly with each team member to ensure a well‑supported work environment.
What type of mentorship or support do you provide for new grads?
We offer a comprehensive mentorship program to support new grads from day one. You’ll be paired with an experienced therapist who will guide you through documentation, evaluations, treatment methods, and more. Our approach is tailored to your learning style, and as you gain confidence and begin working independently, your mentor and our clinical team will continue to provide support whenever needed.
Salary $42 - $47 per hour
