The Role Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the

Senior Financial Analyst

is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to several business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, and excellent communication and presentation skills. He or she will need to understand how to work within (as well as augment) operational and system processes to provide insight to the business. This person will need to collaborate with accounting shared services to understand the impact of accounting policies and come up with solutions to implement accounting practices that align with finance and our sales partners’ needs.

Travel Requirements In this role you will be expected to travel up to 5%. It will be primarily remote, with preferred locations close to a Presidio office.

Job Responsibilities

Partner with FP&A leadership and business owners to produce the annual plan, quarterly and monthly forecast updates, internal reporting and performance management against projections for the line of business.

Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly P&L variance analysis against budget and forecast and review results with accounting, FP&A, and business management.

Monthly / Long‑term forecasting, budgeting, and modeling.

Reporting and analyzing Operational Metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Executive / Ad Hoc Reporting and PowerPoint presentation preparation.

Assist with conceptualizing improvements for financial planning module (OneStream).

Provide finance approvals to support ongoing operations.

Required Skills & Education

A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or another related quantitative discipline is required.

5+ years of related work experience, with at least 3 years of FP&A experience.

Preferred candidate will have 4+ years of experience in public or private finance/accounting roles with a strong accounting foundation.

Must have participated in at least 2 annual budget planning cycles.

Results oriented, with a high bias for action and a strong ownership of accountability.

Strong communication skills with experience partnering alongside and presenting to senior business leaders.

Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven experience in building collaborative working relationships with teams across the organization.

Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with a can‑do attitude.

Advanced knowledge of Excel (including V lookup, pivot tables, etc.).

Additional Desired Skills

Experience in the technology or professional service sector.

Experience with planning systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, IBM, etc.

Experience with accounting systems such as Great Plains, Oracle, SAP, etc.

Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, etc.
