Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technical staff.
Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects from concept to production.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance product manufacturability.
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and procurement of new equipment or technologies.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall business objectives and production capacity goals.
Ensure all engineering activities adhere to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality management systems.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing)
5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment
Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and optimizing manufacturing processes
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, automation technologies, and quality systems
Experience with project management methodologies and successful delivery of complex engineering projects
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Proficiency with advanced manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, PLM, MES, simulation tools).
Master's degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or an MBA.
