We are seeking an
Infrastructure Engineering Engineer 1
to join the Information Systems team. This role focuses on building and operating IT hardware and software resources across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments to support internal customer needs. You’ll work on enterprise servers, virtualized environments, and advanced infrastructure solutions that enable secure, efficient, and scalable operations. Key Responsibilities
Design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers, including mainframe systems (IBM/LPARS), high-performance computing, and hybrid/cloud systems. Implement and maintain infrastructure solutions such as data warehouses, identity access management, containerization, and on-demand scaling. Configure secure virtualized environments aligned with enterprise architecture blueprints. Monitor system performance and resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage, network traffic) to optimize efficiency and prevent cost overruns. Develop or enhance monitoring tools to ensure system security and performance. Advise architecture teams on capacity planning and future resource needs. Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills:
Infrastructure Architectures Experience:
2–4 years in IT 2 years in development using at least one coding language or framework
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred:
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills Ability to lead technical bridges with customers and vendors Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills
