Python Developer (Informatica & PySpark)
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid) • Contract Length: 6 months to hire • Pay: $50.00 per hour • Hours: 40 per week
We are seeking a Python Developer with 5–8 years of experience, preferably within the financial or banking sectors. The role involves collaborative work in a hybrid environment using Agile/Scrum methodologies and independent project ownership.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Python and SQL code for data pipelines and applications.
Create and consume REST API services.
Build interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
Work independently on large‑scale data projects within corporate environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
5–8 years of professional experience in Python and SQL.
Proficiency in REST API development.
Experience with Power BI.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred: Oracle and PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PySpark, GenAI implementation, S3‑compatible storage, Dremio, and accounting system integration.
Other Requirements Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and be available to work locally in New York City.
