Data Privacy Analyst
to strengthen our privacy program and ensure personal information is handled with care and integrity. From managing DSARs (Data Subject Access Requests) to supporting data breach response, your work will support our mission to spread the Gospel by protecting the people and systems behind it.

A day in the life of a Data Privacy Analyst:
At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff, and volunteers who serve around the globe.
In the role of
Data Privacy Analyst , you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Receive, process, and fulfill DSARs in compliance with global privacy regulations, track and report metrics
Collaborate with IT and departments to identify and remediate out of policy personal data storage across systems
Assist with data breach intake, investigation, documentation, containment, and resolution in partnership with Legal and IT
Maintain procedures and report privacy metrics
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of two years of experience in data privacy, data protection/governance, or risk and compliance roles; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
Familiarity with U.S. and non-U.S. privacy laws and frameworks
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification, management or related privacy training and certifications, a plus
Familiarity with data privacy operations and risks, such as data subject access requests and data breach response, etc., is a plus
Ability to develop both leader-level reporting and individual procedures
12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire

40 days/annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
