**Professional Development:** The technologist is responsible for maintaining their professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies.* Operates and maintains specialized radiologic equipment (CT).* Performs high quality lung imaging exams. Performs quality testing on CT and documents results. Reports technical problems to supervisor and vendor for further assessment and resolution under service agreement terms.* Cleans equipment after each exam.* Obtains data/scores from Radiology Dept. to track quality of images and undertakes any training that may be required to ensure all exams are satisfactory.* Documents quality data.* Communicates CT exam procedures to patients and enlists patient cooperation in positioning for radiological examination.* Assists with records management and scheduling appointments. Obtains patient history and enters into Electronic Medical Records (EMR).* Schedules exams and reviews previous records to determine correct studies are performed.* Ensures exams are completed and images are transferred to Picture Archiving and Communication (PACS) systems.* Drives mobile lung screening van to events as needed; sets up equipment and van for screening procedures.* Assists in maintaining the van in good condition and with stocking all items essential for events and patient care.
