Schedule Details / Additional Information Full-time nightshift. 36 hours per week with one mandatory call shift.
Pay Range $34.90 - $52.35
Where You Will Work
20 bed unit with a combination of open bay and private rooms
Neonatology coverage 24 hours a day and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage 7 days a week
Patient population includes intensive and progressive level newborns combined within one department.
Patient Population Care
25 weeks gestation and greater
Complex respiratory diseases
Infants requiring high frequency ventilation support, conventional ventilation support, Bubble CPAP, and NAVA.
Unstable blood sugar
Newborns needing observation immediately following delivery.
Cooling for infants that have experienced a traumatic birth.
Two dedicated Respiratory Therapist to attend high risk deliveries and work with infants in NICU.
Dedicated High Risk Delivery Team that includes our NICU RN’s along with neonatal providers and respiratory therapists.
Nursing ratios range: 1:1 and can increase 1:3 depending on acuity.
Expectations
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
All RNs are required to have NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Training)
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
