Schedule:
Monday–Friday with occasional weekends, holidays, and on‑call coverage (9:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
Weekly Pay:
$2,686/week
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
to support an interdisciplinary hospice care team. This travel assignment plays a critical role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered end‑of‑life care, including pain management and symptom control, to patients in home and facility‑based settings. The role requires reliable transportation to cover an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver skilled nursing care, supportive care, and symptom management in hospice home and facility environments
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and promptly communicate with physicians and care providers
Implement and manage individualized Plans of Care in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards
Complete admission documentation and clinical narratives accurately and within required timelines
Supervise hospice aides in compliance with regulatory requirements
Educate patients, families, and facility staff on hospice philosophy, services, and care expectations
Required Qualifications
Active
Massachusetts RN license
Minimum
2 years of hospice RN case management experience
Successful completion of a pre‑employment medication competency assessment
Preferred Qualifications
Hospice home care experience
IV certification
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Strong electronic documentation and clinical system proficiency
