About the Role In partnership with the Medical Directors, Chief Medical Officer, and the medical team, the Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive evaluations, consultations, and maintain compliance with medical and clinical policies. Work is mission‑driven, aiming to expand access to life‑saving services.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments.
Educate patients regarding medications, risks, benefits, and realistic outcomes.
Coordinate with support staff to ensure appropriate patient communication and follow‑up.
Participate in treatment team meetings.
Assist Medical Directors with patient‑facing tasks as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director.
Work 15 hours per week (12 clinical, 3 administrative) primarily in the afternoon/evening.
Qualifications
Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited program.
Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
3+ years of experience as a PMHNP; IOP, PHP, and/or IP experience preferred.
Experience with a wide range of ages (children, teens, young adults, adults).
Commitment to high‑quality, cost‑effective care.
Excellent communication and teamwork with medical, clinical, and administrative staff.
Proficiency in electronic health record use.
Computer and internet skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook).
