Qualifications Job Requirements:
Assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for the staff in all areas, hospital wide. These educational programs shall be developed in collaboration with the Staff Development Director and the Director of the assigned hospital areas. Programs will be designed with organizational goals, objectives, policies, procedures and hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives in conjunction with the rules and regulations of WRMC and all regulatory bodies. The Clinical Educator will also assist in clinical placement of students within and surrounding the community. The Clinical Educator is accountable to the Staff Development Director.
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS provider, instructor certification within 6 months of hire
Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in acute care setting
Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Educator in an acute care setting
Telemetry and Critical Care experience preferred
BSN required. MSN preferred
