Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defects.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
Manage and maintain quality documentation, including specifications, inspection records, and control plans.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the development cycle.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
3-5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with core quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys)
Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical methods and software (e.g., Minitab)
Bonus Qualifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100)
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis
Demonstrated experience leading Lean or Six Sigma improvement projects
