Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
Design, procure, and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production.
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition to production.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flowcharts.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and layout.
Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, automation, welding).
Ability to design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.
Proven experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving for manufacturing issues.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or IIoT implementations.
Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI).
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration.
