Main Missions: Defines the optimum raw material for the projects Solves material problems and contribute to paint and glue problems encountered during the project and production Responsibilities: For projects in quotation and development: Defines the technical criteria to choose the raw material, based on customer specifications and purchasing Works closely with the raw material purchasing department to ensure the optimum technical choice of raw material is proposed to the project Proposes a risk removal and validation plan to the project Recommends the raw material to the project, based on validation results Proposes technical solutions, in the event of non-conformity, to reach the customer requirements Keeps regular contacts with customers and suppliers to understand and orientate the qualification of the raw material For productivity project and production: Proposes alternative raw material solutions to reduce costs and / or improved quality of the products Assists production plants in the event of problems linked to raw material during serial life Suppliers follow up: Leads supplier’s development policy in order to meet customer requirements on current and future projects Desired Profile: Knowledge of plastic materials 3-4 years significant experience in the field of polymers Knowledge on polymer formulation & testing As a responsible company, OPmobility pays particular attention to diversity and equality within its teams and the Group commits to treat all job applications equally.
