Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join a skilled nursing facility in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time, permanent role offers a stable 40-hour work week in a supportive environment focused on improving residents communication and swallowing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy to enhance communication abilities and manage dysphagia
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes
Educate residents and families on therapy goals and communication/swallowing strategies
Qualifications:
Active MA SLP license
SNF experience preferred but not required
Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
