Role Overview
Low patient ratios, small 12‑bed unit. The Behavioral Health Unit Registered Nurse assesses, directs, and coordinates patient care and procedures in an efficient, empathetic, and timely manner appropriate to the age of patients served. The RN provides the plan of care for the patient and family and will serve as a patient advocate and health teacher.
Education Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Basic Life Support
BS in Nursing preferred
Licensing
Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
