Join our dynamic team as an System Application Engineer and be at the forefront of technical innovation! We're looking for a talented individual who can bridge the gap between cutting‑edge technology and customer solutions.

Programming and configuring

Building Automation Systems (BAS)

using function block logic, scripting, and graphics

Creating

intuitive graphical user interfaces

for BAS systems

Visiting job sites to support

startup, checkout, commissioning, and systems programming

activities

Validating, troubleshooting, and documenting

point‑to‑point checkout

of field devices, controllers, and equipment

Following established

software development, communication, and documentation standards

Clearly communicating

project status, challenges, and solutions

to team members and stakeholders

Interpreting written

sequences of operation

developed by Project Engineering and converting them into controller code

Collaborating with internal project teams and contractor partners to ensure successful system commissioning

Delivering

customer or internal training , either on‑site or at a company training center, as needed

Key Requirements & Experience This role combines

field‑based commissioning work

with

software programming

and is well‑suited for someone early in their controls or BAS career.

Technical & Functional Skills

Basic understanding of

Building Automation Systems (BAS)

and control concepts

Working knowledge of

HVAC systems , including components, sequences, and operation

Strong

technical troubleshooting skills

with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues

Familiarity with

networking concepts

(IP addressing, controllers, communication protocols, etc.)

Experience with or exposure to

controls programming

(minimal to moderate development and modification)

Field & Software Responsibilities Breakdown

Approximately 75% field‑based work , including:

On‑site commissioning and startup

System checkout and validation

Supporting field troubleshooting and issue resolution

Approximately 25% software programming , including:

BAS programming and configuration

Making low to moderate complexity code modifications

Supporting graphics and system functionality

Additional Expectations

Ability to follow established standards and procedures

Willingness to learn from senior engineers and field personnel

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a project team

Clear written and verbal communication skills
