The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is actively seeking outstanding diagnostic radiologists to join our multispecialty radiology practice. Discover what makes this remarkable academic medical center one of the best places to work in the Southwest!

In-person, hybrid, and remote options all available, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical) positions.

We offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you can thrive professionally and personally. Coverage is provided onsite with partial remote option available. Clinical responsibilities encompass diagnostic service across imaging specialties, with no required interventional radiology unless desired. Evening and overnight clinical coverage opportunities with ample non‑clinical compensatory time are available for those with emergency radiology background/interest. Faculty participate in medical student, resident and fellow education, clinical consultations, tumor boards, and multidisciplinary conferences at state’s flagship medical center with the only Level 1 Trauma Center and NCI‑designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications staff.

Excellent commute times

Minimum Requirements

MD, DO, or equivalent

Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico

ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date

Preferred Qualifications

Subspecialty fellowship training or comparable experience
